I CAN tell you what works for me (and in this course, I naturally will be!) but what’s even better than that is for YOU to be unravelling your own approach to deep soul-nourishment and understanding. I’ll show you how to journal in a way that aligns your practice with your shifting monthly rhythms, transforming the way you live and take care of yourself.
DO I NEED TO HAVE READ 'ADORE YOUR CYCLE' BEFORE TAKING THIS COURSE?
While not compulsory, those who have read my eBook Adore Your Cycle will likely have a more profound course experience as I won't be re-hashing many of the topics that I cover in that book. I'd consider it a companion for this course.
WHAT IF I'VE NEVER JOURNALED BEFORE?
Not a problem at all. Journaling beginner, dabblers, long-timers all welcome!
MY CYCLE ISN'T 28 DAYS LONG. IT'S LONGER / SHORT / ERRATIC... DOES THAT MATTER?
Many women find their cycle doesn't consistently follow a 28-day pattern. Mine certainly doesn't! And that's fine. While there will be audio prompts specific to your cycle days, I'll be providing guidance on what to do if your cycle shifts things up regularly or spontaneously.
WILL YOU BE TEACHING FERTILITY AWARENESS IN THIS COURSE?
No. This course is not a guide to fertility awareness or natural contraception or conception. That's a big topic, and not one that we cover in FLOW. This course will guide you to check-in with your body on different days of your cycle, which is ultimately a fabulous compliment to any natural fertility awareness methods.
I'M NOT CURRENTLY CYCLING DUE TO THE PILL / PREGNANCY / BREASTFEEDING / AMENORRHEA... DOES THAT MATTER?
If you're not cycling, you'll no doubt still find this information interesting and I do provide guidance on using the moon's cycle as your own if you take the course. That being said, it will be a different experience than if you were currently experiencing a natural menstrual cycle. Additionally, many women who are experiencing amenorrhea (my past self included) tell me that by tracking the moon and journalling the changes within their body, their own natural cycle has in fact returned!
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU EXPECT THE COURSE WILL TAKE PER WEEK?
You'll need to set aside 10-minutes a day for the journaling exercises and another 1 - 2 hours per week to go through the lessons and worksheets. Naturally this isn't something you do once and never return to. My intention is that you'll integrate this practice into your life forever, so if you need to take more time to work through the course materials, that's completely fine. You'll be able to download everything and access it whenever works for you.
WHEN WILL YOU BE RUNNING THE COURSE AGAIN?
FLOW will likely run again in early-2019.
