Hello! I'm Claire Baker. I'm a women's coach and menstrual educator. Like you, I thrive on looking within; I'm always seeking to better understand myself, and journaling has been my primary method for self-reflection for over 12 years.

In 2012 I came off the contraceptive pill and kickstarted an incredible journey to truly understanding my body and who I REALLY am. 

Through the ups and downs of getting to know my natural cycle, my journaling practice became my anchor and mirror; a space where I could see patterns within myself, understand these changes I was experiencing and figure out what self-care was working — and what definitely was not working! It became the key tool I used to flow with my inner rhythms and manifest a life that felt true for me.

The menstrual cycle is designed to create LIFE. What I've realised (and what I'm here to teach you in this six-week course) is how you can use the magic of your menstrual cycle — combined with the power of intention and intuition — to bring your desires to life, in a sustainable, gentle and enjoyable way. I'm so excited to share this approach with you!

ABOUT CLAIRE

I’ve been teaching women how to live in sync with their menstrual cycle since 2013. In my day-to-day I work as a coach with private clients, teach online classes and live workshops, and hold retreats across Australia, the UK and Europe, .

What I'm teaching here in FLOW is very much a personal practice that I have developed over years of working with my cycle.: The insights I've made through journaling with the FLOW framework have led me to restructure the way I work, exercise, and approach my self-care. I've embraced my blooming sexual energy, learned to manage anxiety and overwhelm, shifted my diet and what I eat (and don’t eat) at each phase of my cycle, reassessed my spending / saving patterns, figured out what triggers my pre-menstrual symptoms (and what helps relieve them), stayed on track with my writing projects, strengthened my intuition, rekindled my creativity, changed the way I approach meditation, discovered how to manifest with my cycle, and on and on and on.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Women who have a desire and willingness to understand their menstrual cycle and shifting monthly rhythms, using a journaling practice as their guide. Those who have an interest in conscious living and want to learn how to use their cycle to create a life they love will really benefit!

WILL YOU BE GIVING US SELF-CARE SPECIFICS?

The brilliant (yet admittedly sometimes annoying) thing about self-care is that there is no one-size-fits-all-approach. I haven’t got a blueprint for you, nor is a blueprint what you're really looking for. I CAN tell you what works for me (and in this course, I naturally will be!) but what’s even better than that is for YOU to be unravelling your own approach to deep soul-nourishment and understanding. I’ll show you how to journal in a way that aligns your practice with your shifting monthly rhythms, transforming the way you live and take care of yourself.

DO I NEED TO HAVE READ 'ADORE YOUR CYCLE' BEFORE TAKING THIS COURSE?

While not compulsory, those who have read my eBook Adore Your Cycle will likely have a more profound course experience as I won't be re-hashing many of the topics that I cover in that book. I'd consider it a companion for this course.

WHAT IF I'VE NEVER JOURNALED BEFORE?

Not a problem at all. Journaling beginner, dabblers, long-timers all welcome!

MY CYCLE ISN'T 28 DAYS LONG. IT'S LONGER / SHORT / ERRATIC... DOES THAT MATTER?

Many women find their cycle doesn't consistently follow a 28-day pattern. Mine certainly doesn't! And that's fine. While there will be audio prompts specific to your cycle days, I'll be providing guidance on what to do if your cycle shifts things up regularly or spontaneously.

WILL YOU BE TEACHING FERTILITY AWARENESS IN THIS COURSE? 

No. This course is not a guide to fertility awareness or natural contraception or conception. That's a big topic, and not one that we cover in FLOW. This course will guide you to check-in with your body on different days  of your cycle, which is ultimately a fabulous compliment to any natural fertility awareness methods.

I'M NOT CURRENTLY CYCLING DUE TO THE PILL / PREGNANCY / BREASTFEEDING / AMENORRHEA... DOES THAT MATTER?

If you're not cycling, you'll no doubt still find this information interesting and I do provide guidance on using the moon's cycle as your own if you take the course. That being said, it will be a different experience than if you were currently experiencing a natural menstrual cycle. Additionally, many women who are experiencing amenorrhea (my past self included) tell me that by tracking the moon and journalling the changes within their body, their own natural cycle has in fact returned! 

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU EXPECT THE COURSE WILL TAKE PER WEEK?

You'll need to set aside 10-minutes a day for the journaling exercises and another 1 - 2 hours per week to go through the lessons and worksheets. Naturally this isn't something you do once and never return to. My intention is that you'll integrate this practice into your life forever, so if you need to take more time to work through the course materials, that's completely fine. You'll be able to download everything and access it whenever works for you.

WHEN WILL YOU BE RUNNING THE COURSE AGAIN?

FLOW will likely run again in early-2019.

HOW IS THE CONTENT DELIVERED?
