To celebrate the launch of Nicole Perhne’s new eBook Celebrate Your Spirit: 7 Soulful Ways to Spark Your Heart & Guide You to Peace, Nicole is sharing a beautiful story with us today.
I received a great email last week from a reader/past client of mine… She’s a wonderful health coach and blogger (and all-round lovely human being) and was keen for some advice on how she could get her blog noticed and take things to the next level. Fab! So, I thought I’d share my tips with you too…
“I would like to get my name out there more, especially in the realm of being interviewed by fellow health coaches or wellbeing blogs. I’d also really like to find more clients. How do I go about doing that? What’s the best way to let people know I exist, what I’m all about and drum up enough interest for them to want to feature me on their site?”
SUCH GREAT QUESTIONS. My reply? Read below…
Hold the phone peeps, I have some exciting news! I never thought I’d say these words, but here I am: I’m a COVER GIRL!
The very first issue of Raspberry Magazine (a digital mag devoted to serving lady bloggers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads – and those aspiring to be!) has been released and yours truly is gracing the cover.
What an absolute honour it is (still in shock really!) to see my mug on the cover of such a unique, beautiful magazine. I’m a big sucker for mags and let me tell you, this one is SO fabulous.
I was going to preface this post with a little Sorry! – as it’s been awhile between The Gratitude Files posts. I was going to ramble on and on about balance and focus and priorities and energy and all that jazz, but I’m not going to.
It’s like when you’ve taken a break from journalling and you feel that need to ‘catch up’ with everything that has happened since you last put pen to paper and it ends up coming out all forced and bullet-pointed and just totally inauthentic and bleurgh.
So, none of that. I’m just diving straight in! Right now, in this moment, as I sit typing away in my favourite cafe, I am fizzing with gratitude for…
Today’s guest post comes to you from Helen Walker, a Health and Fitness Coach and writer. And successful entrepreneur ‘living life on my terms’, as you are about to discover… Find out more about Helen here.
I am a Gen-Y Entrepreneur. I am the Generation Yer who thinks they deserve more – heck, KNOWS they deserve more.
I am not selfish. My head is not in the clouds. I have both feet firmly planted on the ground, and I’m not delusional.
I’m educated. With a Bachelors Degree and 2-3 years experience in my professional field, I have all the boxes ticked.
I’ve deviated from that path though. And you know what? It’s totally okay.
You might even be thinking ‘hey, she sounds like me!’ as you read this.
It has been way too long between The Gratitude Files posts, I know! Every time I go to write one, I feel like there are so many things to catch up on/tell you about, that I get totally overwhelmed and it just doesn’t happen. So I’m just going to shine light on two things on my geez life is awesome list right now. (And I promise a more regular update!)
I. Am. So. Freakin. Excited. Today is the day I finally get to share this interview (with a twist) with you!
Madeleine Mary is the designer and magic-maker behind The Dream Machine, a branding hub of creativity and intelligent strategy that aims to build and support ground breaking brands. And dreams.
She’s also an extremely awesome, kind and well travelled human. Madeleine learnt to walk on a fishing boat, married the love of her life on a blue moon in 2012, photographed the snowy peaks of Whistler for 2 years and has travelled to 21 countries, snowboarded in 4 and volcanoboarded in 1 (which apparently, yes, is a real thing!), all of which impressed the socks off of me.
It is hugely evident from Mads’ site and blog that the work she does in the world truly stirs her soul; her authentic passion for art, innovation and dream-realisation is simply wonderful.
I sent Madeleine these questions a little while ago and was absolutely thrilled/delighted/blown away when she emailed me back a video. I LOVE nothing more than mixing things up a bit with some originality and forward thinking, so this made my heart SING!
