Have you ever wondered who you are? Have you ever struggled with identity or longed to know what your purpose in this life is? I certainly have – many, many times – and I have a feeling you might have too. Let’s see… At twenty-four I quit my job, sold my car, broke up with my […]
To celebrate the launch of Nicole Perhne’s new eBook Celebrate Your Spirit: 7 Soulful Ways to Spark Your Heart & Guide You to Peace, Nicole is sharing a beautiful story with us today.
My FREE eBook ‘Get Unstuck: A Workbook To Create Clarity, Ignite Your Spark & Keep You Moving Forward’ – the updated, redesigned and shiner version – is finally here!
After months of writing, creating and launching the She Is Radiant Collection (and having your lovely, epic, mind-blowing support along the way), I’m not surprised that there’s an incredible energy of generosity and a desire to GIVE, GIVE, GIVE pulsing through my cells right now.
It’s completely natural (and both awe-inspiring and resistance-inducing), for us to watch/experience the pendulum swing back and forth from giving to receiving to giving to receiving… Being observant of this ebb and flow is incredibly powerful.
It means that we can receive gratefully and openly (without guilt) and relish in the feeling of abundance; of being held, supported and carried. And just as willingly, we can give generously without fear of lack or expectation. Ahhhh, tricky, tiresome expectation.
I’ve been trying to find a way to sum up the last 8 days in a sentence or two, maybe even a long-ish paragraph. But I can’t seem to find the words to fully encapsulate the gigantic, stupendous, ENORMOUS amounts of gratitude, awe, honour and excitement that I’ve felt since releasing my eBook She Is Radiant last week. Seriously. Amazing. Woah.
But you know me… I’ll try anyway!
So. To think that there’s already over 400 people all over the world devouring this eBook, soaking her gorgeous-ness in, experimenting and implementing her content… Leaves me kinda breathless.
You will find that in order to ‘get unstuck’, life will occasionally throw us a curve ball. A really, really hard one. One that smacks us in the face and hurts like hell.
One that crushes us, shatters us, breaks us apart. Brings us to our knees and obliterates our current understanding of the world. Forces us to question everything. Leaves us broken and bruised, unsure and confused.
These are the difficult times in our life and it is often these challenging chapters of our existence that we are forced to move forward as we discover what is truly important to us and what we really want from life.
It is how we choose to use these difficult times to cultivate growth and understanding, kindness and gratitude, that guides us forward.
Get Unstuck: A Workbook to Create Clarity, Ignite Your Spark & Keep You Moving Forward – has arrived.
I’ll be honest, the last quarter of finalising the design, links and layout etc. almost kicked my butt. But all of your incredible support and encouragement on Facebook seriously kept me going last night/this morning! I LOVE you.
So what – exactly- have I got for you?
The full potential and possibility of this workbook lies in printing it out and pouring through it with your favourite pen – pausing where you feel called to, playing around with what resonates and diving in deep when the desire strikes.
Oh yes, the new year is beckoning! 2014 is hot on our heels my friends and I know you can feel the energy it’s bringing with it; excitement, motivation, anticipation. Maybe a sprinkling of fear and uncertainty, but generally, this time of year is always buzzing with celebration and connection and I bloody love it.
I’ve got some big dreams for 2014. How about you? Are you going to make it your best year yet? I sure hope so! I hope you’re eagerly dreaming up all the wonders 2014 will bring into your life and setting intentions like its going out of fashion (it isn’t).
But before we jump into next year, let’s slow right down and take a look in the rearview mirror. Let’s celebrate 2013. Let’s reflect on 2013. Then, let’s release 2013. Let’s wind-down the year with a whole lotta gratitude, a fair chunk of acceptance and a bucketload of love.
2013 has been easily the most painful and generous, eye-opening and soul-awakening, thrilling and authentic, heart-crushing and spirited year of my life thus far. It’s exhausted and exhilarated me. And to be honest, I’m ready to release it.
I’ll go first shall I? Here’s my 25 reflections on the year just gone.
Cleanses and detoxes. Two buzz words in the ‘lose weight quick’ world of ‘health’.
There are some scary, crazy, dangerous detoxes out there and some really smart, gentle and effective ones as well. My personal opinion is that detoxes and cleanses can be an amazing way to give your liver a bit of love, your digestive system a break and help to clear your mind.
However, I have been guilty in the past of indulging in ridiculous short term and intense cleanses (lemon detox diet anyone?) to lose weight quickly or feel less guilty after a big weekend. Not so cool.
This time I’m doing things differently! I’ve never done a cleanse quite like this one before; my motivations are completely different. I’ve made this video to help explain why I’m embarking on this 7 day Body Mind & Soul Cleanse and how (I hope!) it’s going to help reduce stress and facilitate the big changes I’ve been making in my life lately.
