Happy new month, happy new moon! I’m writing this in my favourite cafe, a skip along the canal from my flat and I’m drinking a soy latte that I’ll probably regret at 10pm tonight when I can’t sleep. Rebel? You know it. Today I’ve got some personal updates for you, an invitation to work with me […]
I received a great email last week from a reader/past client of mine… She’s a wonderful health coach and blogger (and all-round lovely human being) and was keen for some advice on how she could get her blog noticed and take things to the next level. Fab! So, I thought I’d share my tips with you too…
“I would like to get my name out there more, especially in the realm of being interviewed by fellow health coaches or wellbeing blogs. I’d also really like to find more clients. How do I go about doing that? What’s the best way to let people know I exist, what I’m all about and drum up enough interest for them to want to feature me on their site?”
SUCH GREAT QUESTIONS. My reply? Read below…
Just a month ago, the idea of hosting a workshop and speaking to a room full of women scared the bejesus out of me. But as I’m learning more and more about fear, it’s often a sign to steer your ship in that exact direction. And I’m so glad I did.
The two Get Radiant workshops I have had the pleasure of hosting alongside Amanda Noga from Yoga Alchemy here in Perth, have been just extraordinary.
Combining yoga with self enquiry, meditation, journalling, intention setting, group coaching exercises and more, these amazing women have walked away saying things like…
Well, talk about BLOWN AWAY. I didn’t even get a chance to write a blog post about my ‘Get Radiant’ workshop that I announced on Monday and it SOLD OUT by 4pm that day! Holy moly Perth, I freaking love you.
In the short time I’ve been blogging (just over 15 months!), I’ve seriously made some stellar friends online. Kate Toholka from Summersalt Life is one of them. Oh my, she is a massive sweetie. Kate is a K9-loving ocean baby with an insatiable passion for holistic health and wellness. So you can probably see why I dig her vibe so much.
When she’s not hanging by the surf with her pup, Kate is an empowering wellness speaker, a health and life coach and an occupational therapist. Oh, and she’s an Amazon #1 Best Selling Author! You know, she writes a bit in her spare time…
Get comfy dear reader, pour a cuppa and settle in with Kate – one of the most inspiring holistic health cats going around…
I’m SO excited to be launching my brand spankin’ new coaching and mentoring packages into the world! I’ve been tweaking and playing with these babies behind the scenes for a few months now, shifting and experimenting and figuring out the best way I can show up for YOU. In a way that is authentically ME.
So why the new changes?
Working with a coach and mentor is not something to be taken lightly; it’s a big investment, a choice to say ‘YES’ to you and your dreams. So I want to give you options. To be able to choose your adventure.
As a coach, my clients mean the world to me. It’s vital therefore that the services that I offer – in their delivery, duration, intensity and focus – reflect YOUR needs, as well as MY passion and expertise.
You know me. I’m all about health, wellness and empowerment to live your best life as well as creativity, blogging, business and soulful self expression.
And I know you. You know that life is there to be lived. You’re a creative babe who has so much to give to the world. You’ve got soul. But maaaayyybe that spark needs a bit of loving attention. Those dusty dreams are ready to be pulled out and hauled back onto the table. You know it’s time to press play on the goals and intentions you’ve been brewing away and shrug off the could-haves and should-haves.
So I’m a health coach and I drink wine, eat cheese, love chocolate, adore coffee and I don’t drink green smoothies, meditate or exercise every day. Here’s why that’s OK.
So I want to clear a few things up today. (Psssst – How good is my “shocked face” collage? Ha!)
A (relatively new) friend recently confided in me that she eats cheese.
Yep. Shock horror. She eats cheese. And she loves it.
Expecting me to lose my shit over her confession, she had withheld bringing cheese to our regular girly catch ups, out of fear that I, and our other health coach friends, would judge her.
It has been way too long between The Gratitude Files posts, I know! Every time I go to write one, I feel like there are so many things to catch up on/tell you about, that I get totally overwhelmed and it just doesn’t happen. So I’m just going to shine light on two things on my geez life is awesome list right now. (And I promise a more regular update!)
You know those people you cross paths with from time to time, but never really connect with fully for one reason or another, until one day the stars align and BOOM you’re suddenly super-pals and you wonder why you never said ‘hey let’s be friends!’ – sooner?
That’s Sarah and I for you. We’d seen each other around (various online hangs, social media and Facebook groups), but it wasn’t until last April when I finally dropped this woman a line and said those four magic words above, that our friendship began to blossom. So. Glad. I. Did.
Our online friendship became a real life friendship last year, when Sarah came to Perth and we practiced yoga, drank green juice and chatted on the beach about life, love and travel. Bliss!
Hello and welcome to 2014! It feels good to be back. Back on the blog, back to routine and back to healthier habits. Ahhhhh, sleep and salad.
There is no other time of year that stirs up so much desire to make healthy changes in our lifestyle is there? A new year feels like fresh starts and opportunities to be the best version of ourselves. Plus – let’s be honest – the addition of the indulgent silly season helps spur us into January with a myriad of good intentions we’d like to make in our lives.
Which is great! I’ve got a few myself too. But how we do make sure these stick? Here are a few sneaky secrets of mine to help you on your way!
