It’s been a wee while since a recipe graced the pages of this blog, so I’m thrilled to be serving you this all-kinds-of-delicious cake (created just for us!) by raw vegan chef Kelly Fielding from Bella & Bhakti. Raw salted caramel and raspberries? Um, yes.
Bliss balls. Protein balls. Superfood balls. Healthy chocolate-y snacks of delight. Whatever you want to call them, these balls are bangin’.
These bliss balls are the perfect afternoon snack with a cuppa or for breakfast with a smoothie or even ideal aeroplane food. My boyfriend and I trialled these out last week on a flight and as long as you take them on frozen (and in a container), and eat them within the first hour or so (so the coconut oil doesn’t melt), they seriously hit the spot. Mmmmm-mmmm.
There’s no denying there’s a trillion bliss ball recipes online with varying ingredients and methods, but that’s the fun in this recipe; there’s so much room for play. My kind of cooking. A bit of this, a bit of that. A taste test here and there. And again!
